Senior Manager, Brand Marketing

Location: offices in NYC-Metro Area, 2x per week in office

We are seeking a Senior Brand Manager on the Brand Marketing team who will focus on one of the most critical areas of our business – driving organic growth through organic social, content, endorsers, community building, and brand partnerships. This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies & programs that accelerate word of mouth, drive organic growth and strengthen brand credibility. 

You will obsess over building and nurturing meaningful relationships with our ecosystem of brand advocates, including customers, interior designers, influencers, tastemakers, celebrities, and press editors. You will create and vet opportunities to grow brand awareness, drive revenue and bring new customers into the brand – helping to elevate the company as a leader in the luxury category.

This role will report to the VP of Brand Marketing, and will oversee a Content Creator (in role) and a Manager of Brand Marketing (you will have the opportunity to hire this person). This role will work hand-in-hand with another Senior Manager of Brand Marketing who also reports into the VP. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Build meaningful relationships with our ecosystem of brand advocates. Shape the strategy, development and execution of all relationship-building brand activities

  • Proactively initiate and manage programs, driving deadlines and marketing deliverables in all aspects of new program development, from concept and formulation to program kickoff, to final program and campaign delivery, on time and within budget

  • Build and scale the company’s curator program to drive New Customer Acquisition through Word of Mouth. Identify ways to cross-pollinate content and leverage the program to support other areas of the business (e.g. retail, wholesale). 

  • In partnership with the Senior Manager, lead key collaborations and partnership efforts across the organization, bringing creative ideas and marketing programs to execution and delivering concepts to consumers in support of our ambition awareness and growth objectives

  • Work alongside an internal team of Art Directors and Copywriters to build and execute best-in-class creative concepts and activations that drive word of mouth, sales and brand credibility 

  • Ensure a consistent omni expression of the brand across all external activities  

  • Stay connected to the cultural landscape and constantly assess where and how we can weave the company into it, reaching new audiences through unexpected partnerships, programs, and people

  • Create the processes, systems, and workflows that enable relationship-building areas of the business to scale and make a measurable positive impact on the company

  • Oversee Organic Social strategy and execution– inclusive of all channels and emerging channels (e.g. Substack). 

  • Manage a Content Creator and a Manager of Brand Marketing. 

Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher 

  • 10+ years of experience in Brand Marketing for world-class brands 

  • Track record of ideating and executing clever, non-traditional partnerships and relationships, pushing boundaries left and right to articulate a brand vision in exciting and non-traditional ways

  • Able to develop influential and collaborative relationships across teams and functions – articulating your vision that inspires colleagues and customers alike. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation, interpersonal skills

  • Equipped with effective project management and communication skills; you hold high standards for operational excellence: budgets, calendars, timelines, and efficiencies

  • Fluent in contemporary culture, with impeccable taste and a keen understanding of what drives and inspires customers today

  • Reputation for being a powerful storyteller and an assertive brand advocate 

  • Data-driven, with a deep understanding of analytics and the ability to make data-informed decisions

  • Creative and critical thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to identify new opportunities
