Senior Director, Digital Product & Experience
Location: offices in NYC-Metro Area, 2x per week in office
As Senior Director, Digital Product & Experience, you will define the vision, strategy, and execution for how our products come to life on our website. You’ll partner broadly across Marketing, Engineering, Design, Merchandising, Insights and Brand to elevate the entire digital journey, creating experiences that are seamless, on-brand and conversion-driven.
In this cross-functional leadership role, you’ll define and evolve the future of the digital platform, prioritizing initiatives that enhance customer experiences and drive measurable business outcomes. You thrive on solving complex customer and business problems, balancing strategic product vision with day-to-day execution. You operate confidently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing effectively and keeping stakeholders aligned.
You’ll report to the VP of Digital Product & Experience.
Responsibilities
● Own the vision, strategy, and performance of the website as a core revenue-driving and brand-defining channel, overseeing digital product, site merchandising, and creative experiences end to end.
● Define and evolve the holistic website roadmap, balancing conversion, brand storytelling, and long-term platform scalability to support both customer needs and business growth.
● Monitor website success metrics across conversion, revenue, engagement, content performance, and funnel health, translating insights into strategic action and prioritization.
● Establish a clear operating model for how digital product, creative, and merchandising work together, ensuring cohesive experiences across content, product, storytelling, and commerce.
● Own the overarching strategy for site merchandising, shaping products come to life and are presented across navigation, collection launches, and seasonal narratives to drive product discovery and accelerate revenue growth.
● Lead the vision for digital product across the website ecosystem, spanning foundational platform capabilities to customer-facing experiences, prioritizing the right problems to solve and defining measurable outcomes, while empowering teams to determine execution.
● Partner with Engineering leadership to ensure the website platform is scalable, reliable, and capable of supporting future growth, experimentation, and innovation.
● Own the website experimentation and optimization strategy, aligning A/B testing, personalization, and merchandising tests against clear hypotheses and business goals.
● Oversee customer insight generation across qualitative and quantitative sources, ensuring user research, behavioral data, and feedback loops consistently inform roadmap and experience decisions.
● Stay ahead of digital commerce and content trends, competitive benchmarks, and emerging technologies to continuously evolve the website experience.
● Act as a senior leader and decision-maker, resolving cross-functional ambiguity, aligning competing priorities, and ensuring focus on the highest-impact initiatives.
● Build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams.
Qualifications
● 4+ years experience working in a modern direct-to-consumer e-commerce organization
● 3+ years experience in a product management role within a fast-paced, agile team
● Deep understanding of digital customer journeys, with a strong ability to translate insights into clear roadmaps and technical requirements
● Proven ability to define, track, and act on product KPIs to drive performance
● Demonstrated success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
● Strong analytical mindset with a passion for hypothesis-driven development and data-informed decision-making
● Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify) and web analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Looker)
● Hands-on experience with A/B testing, user research, and experimentation frameworks to validate ideas and optimize experiences
● Ability to quickly understand, simplify, internalize and communicate complex or technical concepts
● Hands-on experience using enterprise project management and issue/task tracking tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday, and Trello
● Experience working with personalization or testing operating systems like AB Tasty or Optimizely is a plus
● Collaborative team player able to work effectively across all departments to meet goals and deadlines
● Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
