Potential: Opportunity to grow into expanded scope or full-time over time

The Role

We’re hiring a hands-on, highly autonomous Marketing & Growth Lead to own and operate the core marketing engine for a leading behavioral science consultancy serving enterprise technology and healthcare organizations.

This is a true builder–operator role: someone who can run systems, not just campaigns. You’ll manage and grow the company’s content, audience, and demand channels while bringing structure, prioritization, and momentum to an already content-rich organization.

The company has deep IP, significant content assets, and strong market credibility — what’s missing is a dedicated owner to turn that into consistent growth, distribution, and visibility.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, builds structure where it doesn’t exist, and is confident working independently while collaborating with senior leadership.

What You’ll Own

Audience & Distribution Growth

  • Own and grow the bi-weekly newsletter and Substack (subscriber growth, engagement, performance, distribution strategy)

  • Develop systematic growth loops for content distribution beyond outbound email

  • Build repeatable processes to expand reach, visibility, and inbound demand

Content Operations & Publishing Engine

  • Run LinkedIn and content operations end-to-end (editing, scheduling, QA, workflows, calendars)

  • Manage editorial planning and publishing systems

  • Maintain consistent execution without dependency on leadership bandwidth

Events, Conferences & Thought Leadership

  • Lead strategy, promotion, and performance for monthly virtual events

  • Own conference and speaking pipeline: submissions, tracking, deadlines, follow-ups

  • Support leadership with talk abstracts, positioning, and speaking materials

Growth Systems & Infrastructure

  • Maintain and improve marketing automation, AI workflows, and content systems

  • Build scalable processes that allow the company to move faster, not just louder

  • Use AI thoughtfully to accelerate production, workflows, and quality

Strategic Enablement

  • Partner closely with Managing Directors, Sales, and Leadership

  • Support case studies, testimonials, and credibility-building assets

  • Help translate expertise into market-facing clarity and visibility

Who You Are

You’re likely a fit if you:

  • Have 3+ years in B2B content, growth, lifecycle, or audience marketing

  • Are both strategic and operational — you design systems and run them

  • Are confident working independently with minimal structure

  • Are highly organized, self-directed, and execution-oriented

  • Understand distribution, not just content creation

  • Are comfortable supporting senior leaders and executives

  • Think in systems, workflows, and repeatability

  • Are naturally proactive, not reactive

Strong Bonus If You Have Experience With

  • AI tools and automation workflows for content and operations

  • Substack, newsletters, and community-driven growth

  • Enterprise or considered-purchase services marketing

  • Conference programming, speaking pipelines, or thought leadership strategy

  • Marketing automation tools (e.g., ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Pipedrive)

  • Behavioral science, psychology, or decision-making content ecosystems

Compensation & Structure

  • Fixed monthly pay based on experience and scope

  • Part-time (~20 hrs/week) with potential to expand over time

  • Opportunity to grow responsibilities as the business scales

Why This Role Is Unique

  • Deep content library and intellectual property already exists

  • Strong brand credibility with enterprise clients

  • Leadership team that values structure, autonomy, and speed

  • Remote-first culture with a globally distributed team

  • High trust, high ownership, low bureaucracy

  • Opportunity to shape the entire growth engine, not just execute tasks

  • Access to senior leadership and strategic influence

  • Real opportunity to build systems that last
