Head of Marketing

This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic and hands-on marketing leader to recharge and rebuild a global marketing function for a leading provider of signmaking, digital printing, and CNC machining software. With a new product launching this fall and growing international presence, SAi is seeking a Head of Marketing to define brand positioning, reinvigorate the internal team, and drive modern marketing strategies that support both revenue growth and cultural transformation.
You’ll partner closely with the CEO, Chief Product Officer, and global sales leadership to take SAi’s marketing to the next level—both in how the company shows up in the market and how the internal team operates. This is the right role for someone who thrives on building clarity and momentum, knows how to activate marketing for new and mature products alike, and has the executive presence to lead through change.
Responsibilities:
Lead and evolve SAi’s brand and go-to-market strategy across key products, including new software solutions launching in late 2025
Manage and grow a marketing team (3 direct reports), assess team strengths and gaps, and re-energize the culture with clear goals, accountability, and collaboration
Build and execute integrated campaigns across social, PR, content, trade shows, and more —balancing modern digital channels with industry-specific tactics
Partner closely with the Chief Product Officer (CPO) to craft compelling messaging and launches for new products
Support two business arms: Sales (direct and channel/reseller) and Learning & Development (Adendo training initiatives)
Own trade show strategy, execution, and performance—including event operations, booth experience, and on-site launches
Audit and optimize current marketing operations: identify process breakdowns, team misalignment, or ineffective activities
Act as a bridge between the US and international teams, fostering better communication and strategic alignment
Report directly to the CEO and SVP of International Sales, with strong cross-functional ties to Product, Sales, and L&D
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally in SaaS, software, or tech-enabled services
Proven success in developing and managing full-funnel marketing programs, from brand awareness to demand generation
A people-first leader who can inspire and organize cross-functional teams and manage strong personalities with clarity and empathy
Comfortable in fast-paced, small-company environments—able to wear multiple hats and build structure where needed
Strategic thinker with tactical chops—can lead positioning efforts and also ensure the booth is ready, the social post goes live, and the team is briefed
Experience supporting both direct and channel sales organizations
Strong executive presence; able to confidently present to and influence senior leadership
Not from the signmaking or CNC industries—fresh perspective is valued over insider knowledge
Nice to Have:
Experience with digital product marketing, SaaS platforms, or go-to-market in adjacent verticals (design software, creator economy, etc.)
Prior experience revitalizing a legacy brand or turning around team culture
Familiarity with product launches timed to major trade shows (e.g. Printing United)

Compensation: ~$120K base + bonus ($5–10K based on company profit)
Work Setup: Remote, US-based; travel required for trade shows (domestic + international)
